Project Engineer
Position Description
A large manufacturing Company, leader in silicone extrusion, has an opening for a Project Engineer. This position is responsible for new product costing, design and development of extruded, molded and/or assembled thermoset or thermoplastic materials. Familiarity with medical grade silicone materials is a plus. This position requires proven experience with project engineering. Demonstrated knowledge of project management software, root cause analysis, design of experiment, statistical analysis, problem solving techniques, and/or other data-driven skill sets is a must to be considered for this position.
Qualified Candidate must possess:
- Firm understanding of GD&T, RMA and ISO standards
- Auto-CAD or SolidWorks is preferred
- Firm understanding of MSA, GR&R, visual measurement systems and ISO 13485 requirements
- Working knowledge of extrusion, molding, and automated assembly equipment. Previous experience in electric, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. - Medical device manufacturing experience in a clean room environment is desirable
Additional Qualifications:
- Batchelor of Science in Engineering (or related field) or at least 7 years of engineering experience
